Tree growth cone length selection
For different woods and trees, tree growth cones with different lengths and different sampling diameters can be selected. If the diameter of the tree is 1 meter, just choose a growth cone with a length of 50 cm. The more commonly used growth cone is about 30cm. If the material of the tree is hard, it is recommended to choose a 2-thread thread and the sampling core diameter is 5.15mm. If the tree is thick, it is necessary to choose a growth cone with a length of 80cm or more. It is recommended to select a tree growth cone with a sampling core diameter of 12mm.
Tree growth cone characteristics
The tree growth cones are made of high-quality Swedish special steel, which ensures that the Swedish growth cones are durable and quick to sample. The drill has two-thread and three-thread thread options, suitable for different woods. The boring drill bit is coated with Teflon to reduce the resistance of the drill bit in and out, and the handle is equipped with a PTFE anti-skid sleeve.

Tree growth cones are divided into four types according to the sampling diameter: Different sampling diameters: 4.35, 5.15, 10, 12 mm. Except for special purposes, a growth cone with a diameter of 5.15mm is generally selected. In order to reduce damage to trees, it is recommended to use tree growth cones with a diameter of 4.3mm.
Tree growth cones are divided into two types according to the thread of the drill bit:
Two-thread and three-thread threads. The two-thread threaded growth cone is suitable for hard trees and can be rotated into 8mm per rotation. The three-thread thread type is suitable for softer trees and can be rotated into 12mm per rotation. If possible, try to choose a two-thread screw type, this kind of growth cone has a longer life.
