Pulsed-field electrophoresis is to separate DNA by altering the electric field between electrode pairs in different spatial orientations alternately so that DNA molecules with the size of millions of bases change direction and pass through agarose gel pores at different migration speeds. The pulsed field electrophoresis system is mainly used for the separation and analysis of genomic DNA. It can detect and separate DNA molecules with a size of 100bp-6Mb. Identification and traceability; DNA radiation damage and repair; apoptosis and other fields.
